Reporting to the Director Cybersecurity, the jobholder will provide security-by-design leadership abilities to all departments in the Home Team and HTX to ensure adoption of defence-in-depth, security best practices and help enable the transformation of the Home Team's cyber security systems and processes.
Job responsibilities: The job-holder will be responsible for the following: » Assists the Director Cybersecurity in the overall cybersecurity resiliency improvement for MHA and the Home Team Departments (HTDs). » Leads and develops Red Team, Vulnercapability Assessment/Penetration Testing, threat Intel and hunting capabilities as well as other advanced cybersecurity capabilities. » Leads the planning and conducting of Cybersecurity exercises in MHA, HTDs and HTX. » Plans, reviews processes and systems for Operation needs such as in Security Ops Centres, digital forensic, threat Intel & hunting capabilities. These capabilities are necessary for prompt and effective cybersecurity and cyber-related event monitoring and incidents response. » Other related work assigned by the Director Cybersecurity. Job requirements » Tertiary qualification in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related engineering fields; or proven work practice and expertiseets. » At least 10 years of working practice in the significant domain. » To manage the personnel competency within the COE, the candidate is preferred with at least 5 years of cyber security related leadership abilities practice. » Strong knowledge of cyber security kill chain processes, common cybersecurity attack vectors, pen-test and red team knowledge and security incident management. » Good knowledge of technology systems such as networks, applications, servers, authentication, and emerging technologies. » Proven capability to prosperously drive and develop strategic capcapability development. » Preferably has significant work practice working with the home team and cyber security or ICT-related work. » Preferably has professional certifications like CREST, OSCP, CEH, CISSP (or equivalent). » Positive attitude and collaborative mindset. » Good planning expertise. » practice in managing teams. » Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise.
