In this job, you will negotiate with suppliers for goods/services at the best prices by using strategic sourcing strategies and broad expertise of the industry. About the Purchasing Manager function: In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality purchasing services on a day-to-day basis according to defined procedures, respecting quantity, quality, and timing. This person ensures the quality of services provided and contributes to the improvement and expertise management of purchasing processes. Key Job responsibilities: » Assist business stakeholders in developing the specifications for a desired product or service to meet the needs of the end users » Be responsible for the capture of savings realised and reporting into the benefits capture system » Establish procedures and provide best practices all over the organisation » Ensure availcapability of the specified goods and services according to the functional, budget, and planning requirements of the internal customers/budget owners » Prepare the RFQ documents located on internal customer requirements using available templates, receipt of supplier proposals, opening submissions, and closing of RFQ boxes » Negotiate contracts, prices, and timelines » Develop purchasing strategies, develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, coordinate with internal teams regarding their supply needs, and supervise the everyday purchasing activities to execute well as a Purchasing Manager, you will need to have strong interpersonal communication expertise along with a high level of management expertise. You must be committed to achieving efficient and safe operation in line with the company's high level of technical standards. Key Requirements: » Tertiary qualification in procurement and supply chain management or significant discipline » Minimum of five years of work practice in a procurement and/or purchasing/supply agent function, preferably with practice in the IT/digital product » Excellent interpersonal expertise and a collaborative management style » Proactive and independent in making decisions » Able to take on the function of a motivator to coach and counsel others whenever necessary » Good coordination and timely reporting expertise » Analytical mindset and organised work approach » Proven practice in contract negotiations; vendor management This organisation is a marketing agency with a strong presence.
