About the Portfolio Strategy Lead, APAC function: In this business critical function, you will articulate a practical and inspiring immediate and long-term portfolio strategy informed by analytical rigour, deep consumer knowledge and collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Key Job responsibilities: » Analyse internal and external factors including in depth demand space to articulate the portfolio strategy for Asia Pacific » Craft the story in an inspiring, clear way to gain buy in and momentum on commitments to deliver to that ambition » Lead portfolio strategy projects with markets across Asia Pacific with local management and operation team to deliver a clear portfolio strategy for the market in line with region and global ambition » Orchestrate the commercial planning process for the region in over 20 markets to ensure they are coming together as one commerce team » Ensure that resource allocation choices are effective and efficient plus type and level of spend is geared towards growing brands across all markets » Support or co-lead other related projects on category development and delivery of portfolio goals To succeed in the Portfolio Strategy Lead, APAC function, you will need practice operating in an international environment and cross-cultural context, managing and influencing stakeholders in lateral structure. Key Requirements: » Minimum 10 years' practice that ideally includes in a large consumer goods company with on-ground commercial practice in marketing » Consulting practice with project management is strongly preferred » Strong analytical expertise with capability to interpret, synthesise and draw actionable recommendations from complex and different sources of insights and data » Knowledge of marketing frameworks and principles » Knowledge of basic financial ratios, P&L, balance sheets » Knowledge of resource allocation and brand investment » capability to form fact-located convictions, to spot improvement opportunities in current processes and suggest and influence change » Comfort with ambiguity, strong conceptual and analytical problem solving expertise » Stakeholder management and collaboration expertise This global company needs no introduction with its market-leading brands and is known as a great place to work.
