This is a function for a compliance agent who is a fluent in this field. About the Compliance agent function: In this business critical function, you will be responsible for compliance functions in the Source of Wealth (SoW) team supporting the front office. Key Job responsibilities: » Perform plausibility checks on the SoW write up in conformity with the APAC SoW guidelines » Review information from multiple sources to ensure complete and consistent information across the client profile » Follow up with the relationship managers where additional information or clarifications are required and support them by ensuring the final write up meets the internal requirements » Accurately record the source of wealth information, and your assessment of the plausibility, with the supporting documents into the template and archive within the system » Provide transparency and oversight to senior management to ensure cases are reviewing a completed in a timely manner and any issues are identified early » Assist the Head of SoW Team and the Project Manager in managing key stakeholders and local/regional management relationships, as well as serve as an advisor to local and regional management in all areas of operational risk » Provide support on data analysis and PowerPoint preparation at project level » Review, control and monitor SoW Uplift Project's activities and status progress » Proactive tracking of open Issues and Actions (arising from reviews) to ensure early escalation to senior management » Prepare and consolidate SoW governance and STC meeting materials » Ad hoc/special projects and implementation of all business risk related tasks/projects To succeed in this Compliance agent function, you will need to have KYC expertise in SoW and expertise of MAS and HKMA regulations. Key Requirements: » Minimum of one year's significant working practice in financial institution » Strong expertise in Excel and PowerPoint » Strong in business writing » A critical mindset and strong analytical expertise - capability to understand complex information and to apply logical reasoning to assessment if that information makes sense » Fast learner - the capability to pick up new information quickly and assimilate information from multiple sources » Effective communication and stakeholder-management expertise, particularly in the capability to contact with relationship manager and compliance » Strong attention to details to ensure that all items are accurately recorded for a robust audit trail » Good organisational and time management expertise, including the capability to prioritise tasks » Private banking background is an advantage, but not mandatory (subject to the overall expertise of the candidate) This is a leading global bank and is progressively expanding and growing its business on a global scale.
