The function is located in Singapore and reports to Deputy Head, Commodities Product Control. About the Product Control (12-month contract) function: In this business critical function, you will be responsible for a special project which is related to rolling out new architecture and system flows for exchange traded and OTC products. The function will involve providing inputs in designing and testing the new architecture. Key Job responsibilities: » Work on the OSCAR project initiative which is part of decommissioning of legacy systems and rolling out new systems » Articulate with various stakeholders the product control and finance requirements and providing inputs in the design flows » User acceptance testing of the output to ensure results are along the expected lines. Understand any differences and articulate that to the wider team To succeed in this Product Control (12-month contract) function, you will need be well versed in product control knowledge. Key Requirements: » Product control or financial control practice is preferred » practice working on a product control or finance-related project » Good knowledge of balance sheet and trade processing workflows » Strong data analysis expertise » Able to execute gap analysis, identify and escalate issues and risks to the appropriate parties » capability to work in a team with good interpersonal expertise » Strong interpersonal communication expertise to build an effective internal network across the numerous stakeholders » Appropriate degree holder » Degree (or similar) in finance or accounting with CPA/CFA is preferred » Industry practice in a specialist product control/financial control function » Strong practice in accounting/reporting systems and processes within the finance environment » Good track record of working in a project function » Excellent interpersonal and communication expertise with a proven capability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels This is a global leading banking institution.
