The XVA management trading desk is a central function desk that manages CVA/DVA/FVA/CAV/RWA risks, primarily for the FID business. About the Product Control (12-month contract) function: In this business critical function, you will be responsible for playing an integral function in supporting a fast-paced and evolving business, expect exciting challenges and learning opportunities within XVA management. Key Job responsibilities: » Obtain and understand the underlying businesses and develop, maintain and govern an effective control framework » managery responsibility on everyday P&L allocation processes » Help drive resolution of issues that arise from the day to day and monthly processes with a view to resolving these in an efficient and timely manner » Identify significant and complex trades to be reported and discuss unusual entries/issues with PC management, RMM and front office where applicable » Support the XVA PC team in monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables and ensure all month-end and quarter-end tasks are completed within deadlines as specified by the month-end timetable » Proactively build relationships by maintaining continuing dialogue with all key clients » Drive strategic and continuous improvement projects as well as operation excellence initiatives to continuously improve everyday functions and systems/applications » Perform validation and control around the P&L and balance sheet with a license to challenge valuation and accounting methodologies, residual trading and operational risks and the overall impact on the bank » Prepare and review key disclosures from accounting disclosure such as fair value levelling (FAS 157) to regulatory disclosures To succeed in this Product Control (12-month contract) function, you will need to have strong analytical expertise, a positive attitude, and the capability to communicate complex issues in a simple and effective manner.
