A global leading healthcare company is recruiting for a newly created Account Manager job in Singapore. In this function, you will take ownership in managing accounts within your territory and engage healthcare professionals that support and help improve the lives of people living with HIV.
About the Account Manager function:
In this business critical function, the Account Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, identifying business opportunities, achieving good sell results and maintaining good business relationship with healthcare professionals. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, this function will also assist with the execution of marketing plans for the allocated territory/products aligned to the company's brand strategy to meet or exceed sales objectives.
Key Job responsibilities:
   » Deliver good sell results with healthcare professionals for the allocated territory/products
   » capability to understand and communicate highly scientific and technical medical information to carry out significant conversations with healthcare professionals
   » Keep up to date with significant clinical and product updates in therapy area
   » Effectively incorporate patient focused selling approaches and discuss clinical data sets in day-to-day selling activities
   » Carry out promotional activities in line with company's priorities to achieve company ambition, and in adherence to company & external regulatory policies
   » Develop and maintain trust and good business relationships with key customers and external experts
   » Maintain high level of professionalism and customer service directly and through distributor to all healthcare professionals
   » Demonstrate knowledge of customer needs and address customer issues as necessary in compliant manner
   » Manage territory effectively as the business owner, demonstrating deep knowledge of the various stakeholders
   » Build territory business plans including profiling of various stakeholders and consideration of payer dynamics and access barriers
   » Prepare and present Sales Business Plan
   » Identify business opportunities within territory and be able to plan, execute and track progress and outcome
To succeed in this Account Manager function, you will need to have significant sales practice in specialty care and able to manage relationships with healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
   » Degree and above, preferably with a significant science background
   » Three to four years of selling practice with strong performance record is preferred
   » Specialty care practice, and sales practice in hospital and private specialist channels is an advantage
   » Possess a pleasant and resilient personality with a sense of urgency
   » capability to work independently and in a team
   » Confidence and capability to lgain and apply high amount of scientific information and data set
   » Strong commercial sense
   » Proactive in being updated in related field of science
   » Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
   » Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement
   » Demonstrated planning capability and strong organisational skills
