About the SEA Corporate Affairs Lead function:
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs for the region, you will support the leadership abilities and strategic business priorities in Southeast Asia to ensure long-term reputation building.
Key Job responsibilities:
   » Develop and execute corporate affairs programmes for the region, working in close collaboration with the Head of Corporate Affairs for the region as well as the leadership abilities
   » Manage internal and external strategic communications and identify key issues and subjects with the potential to influence business reputation and environment, including issues and crisis management
   » Develop, champion and execute proactive external communications strategy to build the company's reputation in the region
   » Lead and manage specific external engagement activities aligned to agreed area/local country's strategies and priorities
   » Work with key internal partners (regulatory, legal, commercial) to determine priorities for specific markets
   » Shape the government affairs strategy and an advocacy plan that will accelerate the recommendation, introduction and uptake of existing and new products
   » Provide comprehensive and strategic internal communications support to the business including channel readiness and strategy development
   » Lead and take a hands-on approach when necessary to organise face-to-face communications with employees and prepare presentations, speeches, and other content to maximise internal and employee engagement, including change communications
   » Serve as trusted advisor to the leadership abilities team and identify opportunities for local engagement to increase the company's profile in Singapore and the region
To succeed as the SEA Corporate Affairs Lead, you will have excellent stakeholder management expertise backed up by significant qualifications and practice.
Key Requirements:
   » Degree qualification in communications, journalism or public relations
   » Ideally practiced in and knowledge of the consumer healthcare/FMCG industry
   » Minimum of 12 years' practice in a communications/corporate affairs function
   » practice in a corporate communications environment within a regional Southeast Asia/Asia Pacific communications environment
   » practice in internal and external communications strategy planning and delivery with a strong and demonstrated track record of success, including external agency management
   » Good knowledge of the Southeast Asian government affairs landscape and political/policy environment
   » Demonstrated practice in leadership abilities, relationship management and partnership development
   » Demonstrated capability to clearly articulate concepts and ideas in a way that will persuade, convince and influence others
   » Demonstrated practice in media management, public relations, crisis and issues management
