An exciting Brand Manager function has just become available at one of the leading FMCG companies. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this is a function for a marketer who is a leader in their field.
About the Brand Manager function:
In this function, you will be responsible to manage the Premium brand portfolio across Singapore and the developing markets. You will be tasked to build brand equity, grow market share, and drive growth across the brands under this portfolio.
Key Job responsibilities:
» Define and achieve the financial plan (AOP/LRP) for the brand category
» Manage local product adaptations within the context of central innovation decision making and coordinates all activities on the scope of local launches
» Responsible for local range management to ensure a sustained yield of range and products while taking into consideration the range resource status
» Manage external communication activities including social media and maintain relationship with local media to be in line with the communication and media strategy
» Develop and implement the brand plan, to achieve the defined targets in line with the global brand strategy
» Support the deployment of the brand strategy guidelines into local marketing campaign
» Translate the category strategy guidelines into local marketing campaign by managing local execution of advertisement and promotion activities
» Manage and develop local branding and visual identity in line with category guidelines and execute local brand activation by using ATL and BTL instruments
» Obtain and compile local expertise and key market insight to be shared with the central marketing organisation for potential innovations and trends
» Develop and implement through the line marketing plans, including new product introduction, innovation launch, brand building campaigns, pricing strategy, packaging, distribution, and communication plans
» Evaluate and report performance of marketing campaigns and assess against ROI and KPIs
» Monitor and analyse market trends, research consumer markets, brand health and performance, competitors' activities
To succeed in the Brand Manager function, you will need to have strong brand marketing management practice and able to strive in a face-paced environment.
» Degree and equivalent in significant fields
» With minimum 5 years' of significant brand management practice
» Good expertise of driving 360° marketing campaigns, marketing strategy and marketing plans including online marketing, social media and content marketing
» practice in driving and managing projects across different functions across multiple markets
» Strong communication expertise
» Resourceful with good interpersonal and team expertise
» Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
» Highly adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment
