About the Senior System Analyst (Cognos/Tableau) - 12 months, renewable function: In this function, you will cover frontend visualisation tools, domain architecture and the backend data set support. You will identify, challenge, and develop business needs, shape and develop scope and requirements, and champion innovative process changes with technology-enabled solutions. Key Job responsibilities: Business consultancy/customer facing: » Apply your strong stakeholder management expertise and play a pivotal function in influencing business intelligence related business decisions through a consistent and direct engagement of business at all levels in business unit » Apply your thorough knowledge of multiple business teams, including all business processes, and the interactions between these business domains » Consistently influence through an acknowledged recognition of business needs and corresponding business intelligence opportunities » Communicate with stakeholders in business terms. Independently proposes new and improved business processes, championing innovation where possible. Apply your strong business acumen/knowledge Project/programme management: » With supervision, plan, organise, and supervise resources to achieve the goals and objectives of business intelligence projects according to defined business intelligence target architecture. Address all other aspects of the Information technology business partnering project manager function Demand management: » Performs as a liaison function between the business and IT. In close partnership with key business stakeholders, matches and with supervision, prioritising demands on Information technology projects and services to maximise value to the business Solution architecture: » Analyse and understand the existing business intelligence components combined with additional requirements on AWS » Apply your capability to design the overall solution architecture including new data management, data integration and reporting layers located on AWS. Integrate with the overall team and alignment of development across the whole application landscape Frontend visualisation tools and backend technologies: » Apply your broad knowledge of frontend tools. Understand and acquire board knowledge of data sets/data warehouse. Apply your BI developer practice Interfaces: » broad collaboration with business clients, local and regional external partner and other Information technology functions and external business partner agencies (technical and creative). Simultaneously manage external partners during project execution To succeed in this Senior System Analyst (Cognos/Tableau) - 12 months, renewable function, you must have a minimum of three years' practice working with Cognos OR Tableau, Informatica, Oracle, ETL. Key Requirements: » Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering, preferably in a quantitative field with (IT degree is fine) » 7 - 10 years of practice in business intelligence and analytics » Three to six years of broad practice in BI Dashboard and ETL development » Excellent overview of the entire business intelligence market, current players and trends » Strong project management expertise and practice. (PMI/SCRUM certification is an added advantage) » Strong knowledge/practice with cloud solutions (plus to Have).
