As the company grows, they are looking for a strong Head of Finance to help them to drive the company towards the right directions. about the function As a strategic advisor to the CEO and the pioneer member of the finance team, you will be participating actively in the key decision pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution. You will be providing leadership abilities for the finance operations, payroll, compliance and corporate governance of the company. You will strengthen internal control, conduct an analysis on financial risks and benefits on business initiatives. You are responsible for statutory and tax compliance matters and liaising with external audit and tax consultants, and coordinate audits and proper filing of tax returns and all other related statutory or regulatory requirements.You will be manage the budget and forecasting processes and ensure that business analysis and project costing is presented to top management in an insightful manner. You will plan the legal structure and ensure its relevance to the company's strategic directions. You will also support fundraising efforts and lead the due diligence planning, preparation and coordination process.expertise and practice required You should ideally possess a degree in finance/accounting with more than 8 years of significant practice. Prior practice from the Big 4 will be a strong advantage for the function. You thrive well in a growing and reactive environment supporting business growth and expansion. You are an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal expertise to influence and work with all stakeholders. practice in a start-up/ e-commerce platform environment is highly preferred. Prior practice doing fund-raising, M&A and managing JVs will come as strong advantages for this position.
