Responsibilities The candidate will be involved in project delivery, digital solutions development and adoption, and competency building. »Digital Design Management & Operations As a Digital Design Manager, the candidate is responsible for facilitating digital project delivery and collaboration. The candidate shall work with a team of BIM coordinators and team leaders from various disciplines (architecture, civil & structural engineering, mechanical & electrical engineering) to ensure a smooth implementation of Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) in a multi-disciplinary design office. The candidate shall: » Provide support to project teams in the planning for project IDD implementation, setting up project, BIM modelling and detailing » Resolve issues arising from project IDD implementation » Develop, implement & enforce IDD processes and workflows for design consultancy in consultation with all significant internal stakeholders » Create and maintain standards & templates for digital design (including but not limited to BIM object libraries & project BIM templates) » Ensure adherence to quality standards for digital design deliverables (including but not limited to BIM models) » Identify gaps & evaluate new digital design solutions (software and technologies) and recommend the adoption of significant digital solutions to support IDD implementation in a multi-disciplinary design office
»R&D in Digital Solutions The Digital Design Manager will also be responsible for research & innovation in the areas of digital design. The candidate shall: » Identify areas for innovation to stretch use of digital technologies in design for greater integration and productivity » Be involved in product and model development, planning, research and/or testing of digital solutions and training.
The candidate is required to keep abreast and experiment with new digital solutions and analysing how to leverage on the solutions to optimise processes. The candidate shall gather data and information to understand office needs and user requirements to support adoption and implementation of digital and automated building solutions.
Requirements » Degree in either Architecture, M&E Engineering or C&S Engineering, recognised by the professional boards, with 3 years of practice in BIM management/coordination » Preferably with practical expertise of Archicad, visual programming and coding » practice in setting up and organising BIM operations and workflow in a multi-disciplinary design consultancy firm will be an added advantage » Possess a keen interest and passion in digital technologies » Good inter-personal, communication and presentation expertise » Able to work independently and be an effective team player
