You will control, manage and direct the North-South Corridor project to ensure that Information technology is delivered safely, on schedule, to the specified quality and within budget; and are in line with contractual and financial procedures with minimal inconvenience to the public and minimal disturbance to the environment. You are responsible for overall project management; from the planning, programme, design, implementation, interface management, commercial, safety and quality aspects. You will ensure that all processes are carried out in conformity with approved procedures, necessary plans and that arrangements are in place to effectively manage the works to prosperous completion and hand-over to the Operator. You will assume the function of ?The Engineer? for the respective civil contracts.
Requirements: • 15 - 20 years of Engineering practice with at least 10 years in project management. • Good knowledge and knowledge of the full spectrum of specialized systems that make up a modern underground road system. Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer is preferred. • Good knowledge of engineering design, construction and project management, with strong engineering background in heavy civil engineering underground construction technology such as tunnelling and large scale deep excavation works with strong practice in contracts management. • practice in the planning, controlling and directing of a team of multi-disciplinary staff and contractors. • Maintaining a firm control over the project's financial and contractual matters. • Excellent interpersonal and communication expertise in dealing with external parties.
