The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) was established on 2 February 1996, with the mission to develop Singapore as a premier global hub port and international maritime centre (IMC), and to advance and safeguard Singapore's strategic maritime interests.
MPA is the driving force behind Singapore's port and maritime development, taking on the functions of Port Authority, Port Regulator, Port Planner, IMC Champion, and National Maritime Representative.
MPA partners the industry and other agencies to enhance safety, security and environmental protection in our port waters, facilitate port operations and growth, expand the cluster of maritime ancillary services, and promote maritime R&D and manpower development.
You will assist to lead the facilities' management of MPA's properties and supervises the day-to-day facility operations as well as plan and execute effective leasing management strategies to improve operation and optimize MPA's office space. As one of the leaders, you will provide supervision to the Clusters within Space Management Department in the facility management and leasing management. You will be required to manage the contractors to provide management and operations of facilities, including to security guard services, general maintenance, pest control, landscaping and cleaning services etc, and ensure that they perform their services as stipulated in the service contracts. You will also be required to work with leasing management Cluster to Conduct property valuation on MPA-owned properties and explore the optimal use of MPA-owned properties to increase revenue for MPA. You should possess at least 10 years of practice in Facility management and leasing management. You should also be a good team player with good interpersonal and communication expertise to engage internal and external stakeholders.
