Your tasks will span from performing comprehensive accounting activities to assisting in monthly and annual reporting. You will also play an integral part in developing accounting procedures that comply with local statutory standards. Your capability to drive the implementation of new processes will be key in this function. Furthermore, your interactions with external parties such as auditors and tax agents will be vital in ensuring smooth operations. » Perform a wide variety of accounting activities, including full sets of financial processes, accounts payable and receivable processes, general ledger management, account reconciliation, and audit schedules for both local and overseas entities » Review all waterfall/retrocession calculations, payments, and coordinating with other departments to address any discrepancies » Assist in monthly and annual reporting, including management reports, variance analysis, budgeting, and treasury cash flow analysis » Participate in the audit process, such as attending to auditor's queries and drafting entity financial statements » Assist in the preparation of financial statements and group consolidation » Develop and ensure the implementation of accounting procedures and policies to ensure compliance with local statutory standards and practices » Drive implementation of new processes, policies, and systems when required » contact with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and bank contacts What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Executive function will bring a wealth of practice and a comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices. You will have a degree in accounting, finance or a related field, and at least five years' work practice in a senior function. A professional accounting qualification would be advantageous. Your strong analytical expertise, coupled with your problem-solving abilities, will be key to your success in this function.
