The prosperous candidate will be part of a collaborative team, working on enhancements, new development, defect resolution, and production support of Big Data ETL development using AWS native services. » Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in AWS environment » Design and implement data ingestion solutions » Collaborative team environment What you'll do: As an AWS Glue Developer/AWS Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal function in shaping the future of our client's big data capabilities. You will be responsible for enhancing and developing new features for their Big Data ETL development using AWS native services. Your day-to-day tasks will involve creating data pipeline architectures, integrating datasets using various AWS services, and authoring ETL processes. You will also have the opportunity to design and optimise data models on the AWS Cloud. » Integrate data sets using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda functions or Airflow » Enhance, develop, resolve defects, and provide production support for Big Data ETL development using AWS native services » Create data pipeline architecture by designing and implementing data ingestion solutions » Design and optimise data models on AWS Cloud using AWS data stores » Author ETL processes using Python, Pyspark » Build Redshift Spectrum direct transformations and data modelling using data in S3 What you bring: » Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent field » At least one year's practice in Big Data ETL using Glue, Python in an AWS environment.
