In addition, you will be involved in financial risk management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff. Key Job responsibilities: » Manage all accounting operations in SAP, including billing, capital expenditures (Capex), accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), general ledger (GL), cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. » Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance and maintain internal controls. » Participate in operational excellence programs and new initiatives. » Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and analyze and report on variances. » Research technical accounting issues to ensure compliance. » Prepare and publish monthly financial statements in a timely manner. » Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reports. » Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. » Support the month-end and year-end close process. » Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, as well as tax filings. » Perform additional controller tasks as necessary. To succeed in this Financial Controller function, you need to be a highly motivated individual who is detail- oriented and has excellent communication expertise. Key Requirements: » Big 4 and manufacturing industry practice is preferred » Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or prosperous completion of the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam, or the international equivalent. » Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced MS Excel expertise. » Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail expertise. » Thorough expertise of cost and management accounting principles and procedures.
