What you'll do: As a Credit Risk Analyst specialising in data analytics, you will play a pivotal function in designing and building comprehensive credit risk management solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include generating credit metrics, driving automation projects, analysing diverse data sets, developing risk strategies, and ensuring accurate implementation of these strategies. You will also be responsible for leading documentation efforts and adhering to risk approval processes. this function requires a strong capability to work independently with various stakeholders. » Generate credit metrics using source data regularly and monitor trends for credit observations » Drive the automation of credit MI/regulatory returns from end to end, including defining business requirements, managing automation projects, performing testing and validation in UAT and PROD » Analyse diverse data required to develop risk strategies for digital ventures » Undertake credit and fraud risk strategy design and development on lending propositions, ensuring high quality, delivery within agreed timelines and alignment with approved credit policy » Ensure that risk strategies are accurately tested and implemented using analytical tools » Lead documentation efforts and adhere to risk approval processes related to risk strategy design and development What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Credit Risk Analyst function brings a wealth of practice in retail banking, particularly in credit analysis and customer segmentation. » Minimum of three to five years' significant practice in retail banking » Proficiency in data manipulation » knowledge of local regulation related to unsecured lending » Strong analytical capability with technical competency to deliver industry standard outputs » Sound knowledge of credit risk with the capability to execute related data analysis » Strong interpersonal expertise with the capability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders » Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation expertise » Self-starter attitude with the motivation to develop together with a fast-growing organisation What sets this company apart: This is a leading financial institution known for its commitment to innovation and excellence.
