About the Business Controlling Manager function: Reporting to the CFO, the Business Controlling Manager plays a critical function in partnering with various stakeholders to manage profitcapability and maintain strong financial position for the company, as part of their market expansion plans in the APAC region. You will be responsible for pioneering business planning, controlling and reporting activities to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business. Your function will involve the development and utilisation of automation to enhance budgeting and forecasting. Key Job responsibilities: » Drive the financial aspects of the business's strategy and map out key plans and underlying business assumptions for financial projections » Lead sales rolling forecast review and sales budget plan discussions with the business » Conduct scenario planning to proactively anticipate opportunities and manage risks » Develop profitcapability reports and initiate appropriate actions with cross functional teams for topline improvements and margin enhancements » Provide end-to-end financial advisory to the business, including identifying gaps and opportunities leading to cost savings, efficiency gains and improved performance » Drive S&OP alignment with factories to improve time-to-market, capitalise market opportunities and develop measures to counter demand and supply risk » Partner with the business to visualise topline development, including building insightful reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy, timeliness and transparency of performance drivers » Perform consolidation, analysis, review and understand the variances as required, and highlight anomalies timely for rectification actions » Provide financial analysis and controlling support for projects/initiatives To succeed in this Business Controlling Manager function, you must have strong business acumen, possess a high level of communication expertise and advanced excel expertise. Key Requirements: » Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications » 8 - 10 years working practice with some years in FP&A and/or business controlling function » Strong expertise in MS Office, Excel and building dashboards is strongly preferred » Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise to handle various stakeholders. » Independent self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving expertise » Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic and readiness to take responsibilities and challenges The company is a leading industrial company with exciting growth plans in the region.
