About the Global Network and Unified Communications Engineer function: You will be responsible and accountable for proactively monitoring the real-time communications production operations environment. Key Job responsibilities: » Handle monitoring, troubleshooting and resolution of issues within real-time communications platforms, supporting services and dependencies » Proactively address potential issues before they become service affecting » Work with real-time communications SMEs to obtain a thorough expertise of the real-time communications environment » Escalate issues to the appropriate SME resources » Input and manage service requests and incident tickets through to closure » Perform security administration tasks, such as certificate renewals, on a periodic basis in line with agreed service levels » Perform disaster recovery testing on a periodic basis in line with agreed service levels » Patch, maintain and remediate the real-time communications platforms and supporting services To be prosperous in this Global Network and Unified Communications Engineer function, you will need to have practice working with Cisco Network and Unified communications (UC) products. Key Requirements: » Diploma/degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent, with at least three years' significant working practice » Beneficial Cisco certifications CCNA, CCNA-Voice, CCVP » practice with managing service requests and incident tickets in an enterprise level ITIL service management platform » Strong or excellent communication skill in English This globally established O&G industry needs no introduction and is recognised as the leader in their field of skills.
