You will be part of a team working on project management of large scale commercial and integrated development works.
Responsibilities
» Represent Employer to work and host meetings between stakeholders and consultants to review structural design, plans and layout. » Review and involve in different stages of the project from practiccapability studies, concept, schematic to design development and contract administration for building projects in a wide variety of sectors such as office, commercial, institutional, healthcare facilities, etc » Ensure proposed design meet desired compliance with engineering principles, standards, statutes, codes, regulations and design » capability to derive yearly budgetary estimates and familiar with government budgeting/projection » Launch tender, evaluation and award of MDTs, and Contractors » Able to work with various stakeholder on the users' requirements » Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify engineering measurements within the project area » Consultation with regulatory authorities and liaison with significant stakeholders. » Able to contribute and work independently as well as in a team to advance design development and contract administration » practice with administration and management of projects, building specifications, permitting/safety, and land usage rules and regulations » Contract administration including budgetary tracking and reporting, verification and processing payment for progress claims and final account » Good expertise of building codes and regulations » Working expertise of AutoCad or other drafting software » Review shop drawings, RFI, material samples, method statement, etc » Work with stakeholder to plan and facilitate migration activities to new facilities. » Take over facilities upon TOP.
Requirements
» Qualification in Civil Engineering or Civil and Structural recognised by Professional Engineer Board » Preferably 5 to 10 years of related Civil and Structural practice » Strong technical background in the concept and design of civil/structural works » Conversant with local codes and regulation » practice in new development of integrated complex or commercial building would be an advantage » Good communications and writing expertise » Familiar in BCA's Quality Fee Method (QFM) framework, and Public Sector Contract such as forms, Condition of Contract, etc would be an advantage
