Job Overview Unique opportunity to join Qualcomm Corporate Internal Audit & Advisory Services organization (Asia Pacific team). The departments activities and services focus on assisting the Audit Committee of the Qualcomm Board of Directors, management, and employees in the evaluation and improvement of processes that identify and manage risks related to achieving Qualcomms business objectives. Using Qualcomms risk-located audit methodology, the candidate will utilize skills to assist in the execution of internal audits, advisory reviews and/or special projects all over Qualcomms domestic and international business units/divisions while evaluating the efficiency and operating effectiveness of process controls over company assets, business operations, Information technology systems, compliance programs, and departmental policies/processes. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for:
Assisting in risk analysis, control identification, and audit program development
Drafting initial planning memos, process/control maps, and the risk and control matrix
Identifying and assess inherent risks and control activities, and design effective audit procedures to evaluate control effectiveness
Independently performing assigned audit testing, identifying deviations from expected control activities, and effectively communicating observations (verbally and in writing) to audit team and business management
Completing assignments within established milestones and completes deliverables with quality, accuracy and attention to detail
Staying abreast of changes in the business environment and to assess impacts to the companys risk profile. The function also provides the opportunity for the candidate to interact with all levels of the organization. Approximately 10% to 30% travel to Qualcomms domestic and/or international locations may be required. 
Minimum Qualifications Two to three years of significant practice in internal auditing, external auditing or SOX compliance within a global public company (preferably in the high-tech industry), Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm or other fast-paced corporate setting.

Compliant with Companys policies including the Code of Business Conduct (COBC) and significant professional code of ethics (e.g. IIA, AICPA, etc.)
Helps foster a productive, team-oriented working environment and supports the department and Qualcomm initiatives. 
Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.

CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, MBA, or other credentials, a plus.
