JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Job responsibilities:
   » Process personal credit reports requests from consumers
   » Primary point of contact with consumers via various communication channels- Emails, Phone calls, Letters, Walk-ins
   » Manage inbound / outbound calls effectively
   » Manage email correspondence effectively
   » Assist consumers in their disputes pertaining to credit reports
   » To monitor progress of the investigation and provide periodic updates on disputes
   » Understand and adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
   » To monitor and ensure data accuracy of all disputes
   » System audit checks to be conducted on a periodic basis on dispute cases
   » Conduct authentication exercise for employment checks
   » Process revised credit reports for clients
   » Spearheading, participating in projects on an ad-hoc basis 
Job Requirements:
   » Diploma (minimum)
   » Possess excellent listening, rationalization, problem-solving, strong eye for detail, analytical and negotiation expertise
   » Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
   » Excellent interpersonal and communication expertise
   » Good command of spoken and written English
   » 1 - 2 years of Customer Service practice
   » Strong team player

Credit Bureau (Singapore) Pte Ltd (CBS) is Singapore's most comprehensive consumer credit bureau that has full-industry uploads from all retail banks and major financial institutions. Information technology is a joint venture between The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) and Infocredit Holdings Pte Ltd.
 
The setting up of a consumer credit bureau in Singapore is a significant addition to enhance the Republic´s risk management capcapability. Since 2002, the Banking Act has allowed CBS members to disclose and obtain credit-related information to mitigate consumer credit risk through information pooling from CBS. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) provides the regulatory guidance and support to CBS to bolster the integrity and transparency of Singapore´s financial sector.
 
To do this, CBS aggregates credit-related information amongst participating members and presents a more complete risk profile of a customer to credit providers. This helps credit providers to determine the likelihood of the customer repaying, thus enhancing their risk assessment capabilities. Our goal is to help credit providers make better lending decisions quickly and more objectively.
