You will be part of a team responsible to supervise the waste collection systems adopted by developments in Singapore. The team is also in-charge of implementing District Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System(DPWCS) for commercial and private sectors in Singapore. You will be required to work closely with various stakeholders in the government & private sectors on the waste collection systems implemented in Singapore. Your scope of work will include, but not be limited to: » Review building plan submissions on the waste collection systems to ensure compliance to the significant code of practices » Review and update the requirements for the waste storage and collection system in the Code of Practice on Environmental Health » contact and work with all stakeholders such as contractors, licensees, Managing Agents, Agencies, residents, Town Councils, industry associations, NEA departments » Review policies of waste collection systems such as the requirements of PWCS and recycling chute in new developments » Conduct site inspections at new development to ensure waste storage and collection systems are accordingly to submission and fit for purpose » Plan and identify potential DPWCS projects in commercial and private sectors » Explore new technologies for waste collection systems to improve productivity » Attend to feedback pertaining to waste collection systems » Work on ad-hoc work, projects and events as assigned Requirements » Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, Chemical, Environmental Engineering » Candidates with at least 3 years' of significant working preferred » practice in project management and review of building plans and engineering drawings would be an added advantage » Able to work independently » A good team player with strong interpersonal expertise » Good written and analytical expertise » Meticulous with a good eye for details » Self-motivated, resourceful, organised and able to multi-task
